Lantern-lit Walking Tours

Picture
TBA: Historic Myersville Walking Tour: The Colorful Past of a "Sleepy" Maryland Town; Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., leaving from the front steps of Myersville Town Hall, 301 Main St.

Myersville-Wolfsville Area Historical Society invites you to learn about the real Myersville, including tales of attempted murder, Civil War mayhem, revenge, arson, moonshine, brawls, and even ghosts. Every tale is true, having been researched by the historical society. Costumed hosts will lead the tour by lantern light.

The tour will start at 7 p.m. from the steps of Myersville Town Hall at 301 Main Street. The tours are one to one-and-a-half hours long.

All proceeds benefit the Myersville-Wolfsville Area Historical Society. The Society is a nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to preserving and retelling our unique local history.
